On the way to Watch the Match

At about 1:30 on Friday we left Morningside to watch with friends at their Clubhouse at 'Riverglades', Douglasdale, and were stuck in traffic but were able to watch the oncoming traffic supporting with their flags and vuvuzelas as can be seen sticking out the window.

Pavement Flag Shop

This flag seller set up 'shop' on the pavement opposite Giles Pub & Restaurant, Craighall Park and did a roaring trade especially after Bafana Bafana drew with Mexico 1-1 in the opening game.

World Cup Flag Seller

With the World Cup only a few days away, these guys are absolutely everywhere busily selling their flags. The bright clear colours are so beautiful in the sun and make a wonderful show wherever they have set them out on display.
